When I was growing up, I had one class I couldn’t wait to go to every day. I know it sounds crazy to hear someone say they couldn’t wait to go to school, but there was something that always caught my eye and sparked my natural curiosity that couldn’t keep me away.
In fact, I wasn’t the only one in my school that felt the same way. I can still remember, making rockets in the football field, and actually being excited for our next concoction in chemistry. Anytime I run into one of my old friends from school, we always find our way back to chats about our awesome science teachers and we seem to all agree one one important thing!
I am pretty sure if it wasn’t for science class, I wouldn’t have become the person I have become today.
When I was in school, we didn’t focus on something called “STEM” education, and yet, that is exactly what it was. No, I take that back. It was STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math all wrapped into one). When I started to learn more and more about what this is, I realized exactly why my Science teachers had me wrapped around their fingers. They had figured out how to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful to my life.
It is now my mission to do the same for my kids. I thrive on seeing their eyes light up at a new discovery.
Inspiring young minds doesn’t have to be such a struggle.
What you need is a plan. You need a resource at you fingertips that will keep your kids engaged and learning without all the guesswork on your end.
Today I want to share 50+ STEAM projects to boost creativity and get your kids thinking out of the box and begging for more hands on fun.
