Super Tasty Candy Corn Jello Parfaits

There really is no more classic fall candy than Candy Corn. Just it’s appearance on store shelves signals the arrival of fall, so what better halloween treat to serve at a Halloween Party or as a Fall Classroom Snack than this Super Tasty Candy Corn Jello Parfait that kids can help make!

I love getting kids involved in the kitchen, and the fall is a great time to get started! You’re inside a bit more than you were in the summer, but the heavy “baking season” is not yet upon you, so you can take your time with the kids and really teach them the fundamentals of helping in the kitchen.

This Candy Corn Jell-O Parfait allows you to work slowly and repeat tasks – making two batches of Jell-O, working on pouring & measuring, and then garnishing with those candy corn candies. This dessert gives some major wow factor without much effort, making it a perfect kitchen project for a beginner.

How to Make Candy Corn Jell0

1 pack lemon Jell0
1 pack orange Jell0
4 cups water
1/2 container whipped topping
Candy corn, for garnish
Cute cups for serving

Place lemon Jell0 powder in a medium bowl, and add 1 cup boiling water.

Stir to dissolve, then 1 cup cold water. Stir well.

Fill serving containers 1/3 of the way full with the lemon Jell0 and set in the fridge for 1 hour.

Next, repeat the process with orange Jell0 powder, filling the containers another 1/3 of the way full. Let set another 2-3 hours in the fridge.

Top last third with whipped topping and add candy corn garnish just before serving.

We used mini-wine glasses for serving!
