You might say we are slightly obsessed with Pokemon lately. Also, I may have picked Jigglypuff for this sugar scrub recipe inspiration because of the fun colors and that cute little puff of a face! But this Jigglypuff Pokemon Sugar Scrub is more than just cute, it’s a great tool in your sensory toolkit for getting wound-up kids ready for sleep.

Jigglypuff became notorious among the original Pokemon crew for it’s ability to mesmerize it’s listeners to sleep with it’s lullaby, so it seemed like the perfect fit for a sleepy sugar scrub to help ease your child from a busy day into a restful sleep.
If you’re looking for a more grown-up sugar scrub option, my coffee sugar scrub and lemon poppyseed sugar scrubs are personal favorites!
Every since my high needs son has become obsessed with Pokemon Go and I realized the amazing benefits of Pokemon Go for special needs kids, I have been finding as many ways as possible to slip Pokemon into our day (or even night routines).

Mix together the sugar and oils until they resemble wet sand.
Add extra coconut oil as needed.
Divide the sugar into three small bowls and add your food dye to make the pink and teal colors for Jigglypuff:
- for the teal: 3 drops blue and 3 drops green
- for the pink: 2 drops of red
Layer the sugars in your container or mason jar to make a nice pattern representing the colors of Jigglypuff.
To use, scoop a small amount into your hand and exfoliate skin with a bit of water.
Do you know a Pokemon fan who could use some help unwinding at the end of the day?
