Not Planned

Today Legoman had a rough morning. I am starting to really think he is out of alignment. I want to tell you more about how we use chiropractic work to help him with his sensory needs and hopefully I can get that written soon.

Heavy Work

We ended up popping bubble wrap and chewing gum which seemed to help center him before he went to Mr. X. It is simply amazing to see how different he is when something is off. It’s also so hard to watch him struggle with something and not know what his body needs in the moment to help him.

Mom I feel like I am on a train. You know it’s moving really fast and its hard to stand still while it’s moving.

Our regular sensory work, such as wheelbarrow walks and wall push-ups, weren’t working because he said he was weak. So I just squeezed him tight and tried to remain as patient as I could.

Have you read about our Elf on a Shelf Adventure yet?

Want more ?

What did we do yesterday?…                           What will we do tomorrow?

  1. Sorry about baby being sick. Foot and Mouth disease is no fun. Moving between houses so often must be so difficult for a child with SPD.

    1. Thank you so much. It is no fun. My throat is beginning to swell up to but there are no subs for homeschooling moms 🙁
