Taking Time For Mom

Let’s face it. Once you become a mom, all attention is put somewhere else. It’s hard to take care of yourself when you are up all night, changing diapers or feeding a tiny creature that is dependent on you. I can tell you from experience, one the most important gifts you can receive or give yourself as a new parent is “Me Time”. Hopefully, you can find some helpful ideas from exercise to determine if you are going through postpartum depression.

Taking Care of All Parents

So here’s the thing. Parenting a baby in the first year isn’t always picture book pretty. In fact, sometimes it can be downright hard. Whether you had a preemie, multiples or child with a disability, life can seem a little fuzzy. Then there’s scary topics many of us don’t want to talk about. You know the ones like divorce, single parenting, or even worse… something happening to your baby. My hope in including these resources from some dear friends and co-hosts in this series, is that we are able to reach someone in need of hearing that they are not alone.
