I don’t know about you, but I can’t ever seem to get enough of handprint crafts. I am not one to love “crafts” however any craft involving getting dirty and messy, and leaves behind such a great keepsake pretty much is a win in my book. Over the years, I have done my fair share of handprint crafts in the classroom and with my own kids. However, one of my favorite activities has to be our most recent Handprint Monsters that I am sharing over at Melissa & Doug. These fun handprint crafts got me in such a “keepsake” mood that I have decided to share 10 of my favorite handprint ideas I could find. Be prepared. Some of them are pretty darn cute!

Handprint Crafts for the Home
I love the idea of giving handmade gifts as an alternative for holidays, birthdays, and… well, actually for any reason! I sort of have a problem passing on a great handmade gift that will become a keepsake and leave a special memory behind.
This collection of handprint crafts make the perfect gift for grandma, dad or even for teachers. I know we have some handmade coaster that the boys insist on using every night at dinner, and I can see them adding a few of these to our gift making list this year. (I secretly want a handprint mason jar).

Handprint Crafts for Your Walls
In the living room, on the dining room wall, in grandma’s bedroom… just a few ideas for wonderful places to find creative handprint art. I love how each of these crafts encourage children to be creative, make the project their own, and build pride and ownership in their work. Much like our recycled rainbow mobile, I love the addition of nature to the handprint wall hanging.
Want to know a tiny secret? Every time the sand art comes across my Facebook feed I do a tiny swoon. I think it is such a creative way to create lasting memory with your kids (or entire family) and makes a wonderful gift.

Don’t forget the awesome Monster Handprint Art I am sharing at Melissa & Doug! I think it would be super cute to put it in a frame with a card that says “from your little monsters! ” Pretty cute, right?
