If you’ve been following for a while, you’ll know that my middle son started back to public school this year for the first time in years. There’s been a lot that has surprised me about public school from how much I’d miss my son being around all the time to how much he would enjoy his time in school. Of course, it has been quite the transition and I try to do what I can to help him feel connected to me while he’s gone, and one of my very favorite ways to do that is with lunch notes!
