I love making fun Valentine’s Day activities and treats with my kids, and one of the easiest I’ve found are these totally adorable Valentine’s theme rice krispie treats! They take hardly any time to make, and you can actually have your kids help you without it making you crazy. Seriously, you cannot mess these things up. Plus they’re super delicious!

These Valentine’s theme rice krispie treats are the perfect Valentine’s Day after school snack. Or they could be a fun treat at a Valentine’s Day school party! They’re pink and red, plus we’re using fun cookie cutters to make them fun valentines shapes.
Totally Adorable Valentine’s Theme Rice Krispie Treats
What You Need to Make Totally Adorable Valentine’s Theme Rice Krispie Treats
- 3 tbs butter
- 3 cups Rice Krispie Treats cereal
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 tsp red food coloring
- Sprinkles of your choice
- Cookie cutters
- Printable Tags (download below)
- Twine or Ribbon
- Plastic Treat bags
How to Make Totally Adorable Valentine’s Theme Rice Krispie Treats
First you’re going to melt the butter over medium heat. Then you’ll add in marshmallows, stirring frequently until fully melted and mixed. Next you’ll add in food coloring (you can add more for a deeper red).
Pour your Rice Krispie cereal in a large bowl, then pour in your marshmallow mixture. Stir immediately and continue until evenly coated.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, then spray it with your favorite nonstick spray.
Pour Rice Krispie mixture on to medium sized cookie sheet, spray your hands with the nonstick spray, and spread the mixture out evenly to cover the entire sheet.
Cover with sprinkles, and press them into your sheet just a bit.
Let the Rice Krispies sit for at least 15 minutes, then cut out fun Valentines shapes with cookie cutters and enjoy!
