I ended last month by saying…
May has my birthday, Papa Bear’s birthday, Mother’s Day, and Super B’s birthday. That exhausts me just typing it all out. Then on top of that, I have collaborated with over 40 bloggers to do a HUGE Blog Series “All About Baby’s First Year“. I cannot tell you how excited I am, but I am so scared at the same time. This is the biggest project I have participated in.
So, honestly, I made all of these goals, but I will be happy if I make it to June in one piece.
I made it through May in one piece but I am not quite sure how.
I am really proud of the way the Ultimate Guide to Baby’s First Year went. I was able to get to know over 40 bloggers, collaborate on a giant scale and push myself to learn even more about working with sponsors. It was amazing. I never imagined how large it would be and how many people would enter our giveaway. If you haven’t had a chance to read through and pin the posts in the series, be sure to check it out.
During home-school, we reset our goals and talked about how to take ownership of our learning. The boys were both incredibly interested in the baby robins in the backyard, creating and learning about factories, and Legoman initiated a study on Ancient Egypt. For one of the first months, I felt like we were making progress with regards to homeschool.
As you may notice from my chart, I am really lacking in taking care of me and my family time. The big project and trying to facilitate these home-school projects took everything out of me. I have hit a wall. I need to make progress in these areas, so this month I am stepping back a tad.
WHAT ARE MY JUNE GOALS?
For June, I want to enjoy life. I want to be happy again.
That means I am going to have to set simpler goals and work very hard at following through. I am actually writing this post as I sit in the car on the way out of state. I had these big plans to be completely ahead and scheduled for this trip and that did not happen. Making my June goals a reality is going to mean getting organized and not living and working day to day.
It won’t be easy, but my body, my family, my happiness needs simple. Do you think I can go simple? What are your tips?
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR JUNE?
My hope is that you will leave comments, ideas, and share your goals as well. Every month I will be post at the end of the month, along with my co-host. Visit their pages, read their goals, and tell us yours.
Together we can achieve what we desire!

I love your goals for June. Simplicity really does bring happiness. Good luck!
Thank you, now if I can just do it!
Great idea with posting goals to the blog! My goals for June are to figure out a working transient transformation system for my soybeans in lab (ok that might take July too..), make time to cultivate some new friendships in our new town, and read at least 5 journal articles a week 😀
That is wonderful!
I agree with where did May go. I really thought it went by way to fast. I like how simple you are making the goals. I cut back on a lot of projects in May and I’m doing the same for June. I need to make things simple and easy.
Half way through June, I am not doing such a great job of going simple. This is hard for me!
I love how you organize your goals into the 6 buckets. So inspiring and a great way to focus. Congrats on your huge blogger project. You’re amazing! 🙂
Thank you! You are too sweet! You are pretty amazing yourself!
